FxPro Acquires Spot FX Aggregator
LONDON, September 11, 2014/PRNewswire/ -- FxPro Group Ltd (FxPro) has acquired spot FX aggregator Quotix, in a move that gives the company FX 유동성 서비스 full control over the provision of its FX liquidity and allows it to provide more institutional-focused services.

암호화폐(가상화폐) 리플을 사용하는 국제 송금 시스템 업체가 추가됐다.
24일(현지시간) 리플 공식홈페이지에 따르면 영국 기반의 국제 환전 서비스를 제공하는 머큐리FX(Mercury FX)와 미국 온라인 송금 서비스를 제공하는 통신업체인 IDT가 FX 유동성 서비스 FX 유동성 서비스 리플과 파트너십을 맺었다.
리플은 두 회사가 송금, 기업 간 거래 속도를 높이기 위해 엑스래피드(xRapid)를 사용하기로 했다고 발표했다. 엑스래피드는 리플이 만든 실시간 유동성 솔루션을 제공하는 서비스다. 리플은 엑스래피드 시스템을 사용하면 금융 기관들이 더 이상 비용이 드는 중개인들이 필요없고, 노스트로 계정(외국 거래처 은행에 예치된 외국 통화의 예금계정)을 위한 자금을 모집할 필요가 없다고 주장한다.
머큐리FX는 리플과의 파트너십을 통해 FX 유동성 서비스 일반 고객들이 실시간으로 효율적이고 투명한 거래를 할 수 있는 지불 시스템을 제공하겠다고 도입배경을 설명했다. 알라스테어 콘스턴스(Alastair Constance) 머큐리FX 최고경영자(CEO)는 “리플은 법정화폐와 긴밀히 협조하는데 적합하다”며 “국제간 지불 거래에서 발생하는 마찰을 줄일 수 있을 것”이라고 말했다.

리플은 엑스래피드를 사용하는 국제 송금 업체들이 늘어나 Value of Internet(IoV) 구축이 진전되기를 희망하고 있다. IoV는 리플의 장기적인 목표로, 실시간으로 정보가 이동되는 것처럼 동일한 속도로 국제간 송금을 이뤄지도록 하는 것이다. 갈링하우스(Galinghouse) 리플 CEO는 “IDT와 MercuryFX는 리플이 비즈니스 및 고객의 니즈를 파악한 얼리 어답터들”이라며 “두 회사와 IoV를 구축할 수 있게 돼 기쁘게 생각한다”고 밝혔다.
